What is Drama Therapy?
Drama therapy has effectively helped in the recovery of abused survivors, at-risk youth, difficult families, behavioral health issues, addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. It combines drama and psychotherapy helping you or someone you love to gain confidence and find new, effective ways of problem-solving. This therapy is very effective in building community and bonding.
What Happens in a Manoshala’s Drama Therapy Group Sessions?
Our licensed drama therapist encourages you to understand the root cause of your issues and guides you to navigate through challenges with exercises such as role play, storytelling, writing, and mirroring. They will provide you with a safe space to discuss your true self openly with everyone around you without any judgment.
Who Can Attend a Drama Therapy Group Session?
The session is for youngsters between 16 and 28 years of age. Please join us if you are currently undergoing emotional stress and looking for a non-judgemental safe space. The virtual session is of 90 minutes conducted in Hindi and English on Zoom. Bring colors of your choice, a pen, paper, and an open mind.
